I went to a competition this last weekend and I was doing very well in the beginning, but the second round was horrible. I started out doing great and then, in the middle of the dance, I stopped, because my quadriceps were shooting pain from my hips to my knees and it ocurred in the hard shoe only. I felt horrible but there was nothing I could do about it. I could not stay concentrated after the pain had occurred. I have had this problem before and worked with a personal trainer to fix it. He told me that my quadriceps were really weak and that I needed to work them in a different way than the way I dance with them. Well, since then, I have been doing Yoga, Pilates, and working out and dancing as well. I have stopped swimming so I will have to start that again. My dad has given me this spray that helps the blood flow so that the muscles will heal faster. I really hope I can get better by the Regions. I really want to do well when I perform there and not have this problem continue. Does anyone have any recommendations? I have done my research over the internet on all these things but I was wondering if anyone else has had this problem before and if so, what did they do about it?
